GREEN CLEAN BURGER

This is a super duper clean green burger. If any of you guys want something that is easy to make, deliciously yummy, and healthy, this is for you! Heck, even my super duper unhealthy brother who eats chips all day said it was yummy! It looks like a naughty meal but secretly its not!
Ingredients:

  • Bread rolls or burger buns. If you want to go that extra mile use rye bread rolls or grainy bread rolls!
  • 1 large avocado
  • 30 grams of feta cheese
  • 20 cherry tomatoes
  • a bunch of mixed green veggies
  • 300 grams of minced meat
  • half an onion
  • optional ketchup
Method:

The Meat:
  1. Place the minced meat into a large bowl.
  2. Dice the onion and mix it in with the minced meat using your hands! Don't forget to add a little bit of water.
  3. Roll up your minced meat into balls and press them down flat.
  4. Using a non-stick pan on med heat, place your flatten meat into the pan. *If you don't have a non-stick pan use 1 teaspoon of coconut oil to prevent the meat from sticking onto the pan.
  5. Remove meat patties and place them aside.
The Greens:
  1. Dice up the feta cheese and put it into a large bowl.
  2. Dice up the avocado and mix it in with the feta cheese.
  3. Using a fork, mash up the avocado and feta cheese together until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. Cut up the cherry tomatoes into quarters and fold it into the avocado and feta mix.
The Ensemble:
  1. Cut your bread roll into half horizontally.
  2. Spread the avocado, feta, and cherry tomato mixture onto the base of the bread.
  3. Grab your mix of green veggies and layer heaps on top your your avo, feta, and tomato mix.
  4. Place one meat patty on top of the mixed green veggies. And if you want a little sauciness, drizzle a little bit of ketchup on top of the meat patty.
  5. Place the top of the bun on top of the meat patty and tah-dah! You're healthy green burger is all done!
